In almost seven and a half years I did not buy never had any problems worth mentioning, at most a few late delivery or a good book a bit 'more battered than the description suggests, obviously I went credit in luck, because in recent weeks it seems that it can no longer buy anything online without any complication.
The famous Red Sox cap of I mentioned a few posts ago never arrived, and the seller (which, as the holidays approach, I hope an attack of diarrhea during fulminant Christmas dinner with family) has never deigned to answer my email, luckily I had paid the order with PayPal and I get my money back every penny. In the end, despite esosissime shipping costs and the risk that the package is stopped at customs, I ordered the cap on the official website of the Red Sox . For the time has not arrived yet, but I am optimistic.
And then he finally opened amazon.it , and of course I could not fail to buy something immediately, given the prices very low. For the moment, I made two orders, one of three books, shipped via UPS , despite an initial problem (UPS does not deliver to PO boxes, for some mysterious reason) arrived without problems. The other one, put DVD, shipped with SDA, is still wandering around the province of Milan.
history of shipping is surreal: November 30 reads: "Possible delay in delivery due to the organization of an additional courier " (eh?) , December 1 the parcel is delivered to 20:11 (oh yeah?) , but at 11:12 on December 2 status becomes: " Possible Delay in delivery due upon arrival at the headquarters of the courier wrong" (sorry?) . vowed that the package would be delivered on Dec. 3, but after another day of waiting, the the evening of 3 Status: OFFLINE RECIPIENT - RELEASED ON SHIPPING LINE "who the fuck knows what that means. And this was also done to send me to work (and work Milan, just minutes away Porta Garibaldi train station, not on Shit Monteculo ), not in the box.
Now, I know that a single negative example is not significant, but reading here and there I got the idea that if Amazon really wants to break in Italy, maybe SDA was not the most far-sighted choice.
And by the way, Mr. SDA: why to do the tracking of an order, in addition to the tracking number I need to enter a captcha ? UPS, DHL and FedEx, which does not request it, all three are innocent of reckless?

Since this is candidate to be the most read post (and commented) the history of my blog, it seems fair to say that the 6 / 12 the package from Amazon arrived via SDA. I think it also fair to say that the DVD package was damaged, but luckily the discs are in perfect condition. No, Mr. SDA, I would say that we have not.
Ah, still has not reached even the cap of Red Sox, but I remain confident in waiting.
