The rule of three quarters: Winter is Coming Again
It seems that lately should continue to citations, with the risk of sounding pedantic more than it already is. Not later than the day before yesterday I wrote :
"[...] when a media generalist, I hear of a topic that for some reason I know well, in at least three quarters of cases There are at least of the inaccuracies, if not the colossal nonsense. "
Here: this article Kataweb (accessible from the homepage of Republic ) speaks of the forthcoming HBO series is the wonderful saga A Song of Ice and Fire *, which I have already spoken in more of a ' opportunity here on the blog. Unfortunately in a few lines summarizing the complicated books GRRM is impossible, so trust me: the rate of bullshit / line is staggering and shows not only that the author, this Benedetta Perilli has never read the books (and this is understand, read three thousand pages to write a short article on the Web would be impossible) but even a good summary. Just a couple of gems: the Stark family not "play to win the throne area [...]" The Night Watch are not an "enemy camp" and the Barrier is not a mythical land which is the border line "between the civilized lands and the North. It is then clear what is meant by "plot Intrigue (sic) and complex that it faithfully reflects almost (sic) Martin's novels, it is not clear why it is said that at the beginning, the saga of Martin has little to do with The Lord of the Rings and a few lines after Game of Thrones "gives a nod to Tolkien's saga, and especially it is not clear what the c'entrino Soprano, remember even in the title.
last little observation: of Thrones and The Great Winter are the first two "episodes" of the saga of Martin only in the Italian **, meaning that they are the two volumes in which our forward-thinking publishers have divided the first book A Game of Thrones .
those circumstances, it is obvious and predictable that on April 17 it will drop the nets in the creek to fish for fresh fresh episode.
* George, please: I need A Dance with Dragons ! (And, of course, The Winds of Winter and A Dream of Spring ...)
** correct me, as you can see from this page , we were not just us Italians to divide the first book.
